Kitchen Hints

Stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of an ice cream cone to prevent the ice cream drips.
Just suck the ice cream out the bottom of the cone, for Pete's sake. You are probably lying on the couch with your feet up eating it anyway.

A Sound Offer From Tesco

I have just been reading an article from the Telegraph online. A Tesco own-label hi-fi costing just £16 has beaten expensive rivals including models from Sony and Roberts to become customers' favourite in a poll of shoppers. The budget stereo system was voted ahead of more sophisticated equipment that was up to fifteen times dearer to become the top choice of consumers in the annual online survey by Revoo.com. The winner was chosen from votes by more than half a million consumers whose reviews are submitted to the Reevoo website. Shoppers rated products they had owned for at least one month, ranking them on several criteria including value for money.
Tesco's Value MC-907 CD Micro Hi-Fi, available from stores for £16.49 features a CD player, two speakers and a low-tech analogue radio - yet won the gold award in its category. It beat the silver award winner, a Roberts Sound MP43 that costs £180, and the bronze winner, a Sony MHC-EC78PI that comes with a £100 price tag. Seems like a sound enough offer to me.
