How About This For Loyalty

Members of staff from Ask Rewinds Ltd celebrate
winning £3,938,641 on the National Lottery
It seems that, for some people, loyalty knows no bounds. Director's and staff at Ask Rewinds Ltd a company established in 1978 and based in Accrington, Lancashire, formed a 13 member syndicate to play the National Lottery. They were rewarded with a jackpot win of £3,938,641, each member scooping £300,000. Andy Whittaker, 44, has managed to keep the family-run company going, despite the disastrous effect the recession has had on the motor industry. Now his staff have pledged to invest much of their winnings in the company, that specialises in the repair and rewind of motors. Mr Whittaker, and a fellow director, were themselves members of the syndicate, and plan to plough their winnings back into the business to safeguard the jobs of their 18 workers. According to Mr Whittaker, the company has been holding it's own and doing fine, but the injection of new cash will be a further safeguard for the company. A celebration is being planned for the winners and their families, before normal service resumes at the firm on Monday.
