Yesterday's Scottish National selection, Nine De Sivola, ran very disappointingly, pulling-up before the fourth last fence, after being behind throughout the race. Interviewed after the race trainer Ferdy Murphy said, Graham Lee, Nine De Sivola's jockey, had reported that the ground had been too quick for the horse.
