Don't Do It Son

When I was a kid if you wanted to find true love you generally didn't go any further than behind the bike sheds. Well believe you me things have changed! I was touched when I read this lovely story. A young German couple, Mika and Anna-Lena were very much in love. They desperately wanted to get married and decided the best place to do it was Africa because it was warm there. However, there was a slight problem, the couple were aged only six and seven. Furthermore, thay decided to take with them Anna-Lenas five year old little sister as a witness. At dawn on the first of January, whilst their parents slept, the trio left their house in the suburbs of Hanover taking with them sunglasses, swimming trunks, a lilo, summer clothes and provisions. Despite not having any money or plane tickets they waited at the station for a train to take them to the airport. Their plans were thwarted by a guard who alerted the police. Before being picked-up by their parents the children were treated to a tour of the police headquarters at Hanover station. Not the greatest of honeymoons was it!
